privacy policy

Doomed (“we”, “us”) is a doomscroll blocker. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.
No account, no email
You don't create an account with an email or password. On first launch we create an anonymous identifier so your settings and stats can sync to your install.
What we collect
- Anonymous user ID — a random identifier tied to your install.
- App settings — which apps you choose to gate, your challenge/difficulty, and Strict Mode settings.
- Usage stats — gate events, a daily count of how often you open a gated app, and time-saved/streak figures used to build your dashboard.
- Subscription status — whether you have Doomed Pro. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive your subscription state but never your full card details.
Screen Time app choices stay private
Doomed uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework to block apps. The specific apps you select are represented by opaque tokens that stay on your device — we do not receive the list of apps you block.
Who we share with
We use service providers only to run the app: Supabase (data storage + anonymous auth) and Stripe (subscription payments). We do not sell your data and we do not use third-party ad tracking.
Your choices
- Delete your account — Settings → Account → Delete account & data. This permanently removes your settings and stats.
Children
Doomed is rated 13+ and is not directed to children under 13.
